Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) is a preventative arm of our local social services. The program is mutually funded through the provincial and municipal governments. FCSS works closely with other local organizations to improve the quality of life for Sexsmith residents.
FCSS provides services based on needs identified in the community. An Advisory Board made up of community members assists in identifying those needs.
FCSS acts as a referral source and advocate for those, in our community, who are in need. The coordinator matches the individual or family with an organization or resource that can help meet the need. Some resources are available in our community, while others may be accessed in Grande Prairie.
Those who have needs or do not know where to go for services can contact the Sexsmith FCSS Office at 568-4345 or tosfcss@sexsmith.ca Because of meetings and programming, the coordinator may be out of the office when you call.
